Whether you ride for transport, fun, recreation or sport, or love someone who does, then you need to join the Central Coast Bicycle User Group! By joining us you help build a stronger voice to Council, local politicians, the RMS and other government bodies on behalf of all people who ride bicycles on the Central Coast.
Even if you don’t cycle yourself or you are already a member of another cycling group, you can join as an Associate member for FREE to show your support.
Membership is open to all persons over the age of 16 (family membership is also available which covers the younger ones) and our rides cater for all ages and cycling ability.
Membership also means you will be kept informed of any developments in cycling at the local, state, national and international levels through our various communication channels.

Associate Member
If you care about friends and loved ones who love to ride their bicycles; if you want to ensure better bike paths for your kids to ride to school or to the shops; then join CCBUG as an Associate Member - it’s completely free. Associate Members also receive 1 free ride each year.
If you’re a member of another cycling club or organisation, we invite you to join CCBUG as an Associate Member to support our advocacy efforts here on the Central Coast.
Family Member
Family Membership gives you all the benefits and offers of Full Membership. Family membership is open to two adults and all children under the age of 16 residing at the same residence.
Seniors Member
Seniors Membership gives you all the benefits and offers of Full Membership. Seniors membership is open to any holder of a Seniors Card.
Membership Fees
Full membership is open to persons over the age of 16 years (children under the age of 16 can be included in Family memberships).
Your financial membership assists CCBUG to promote, market and support safe cycling on the Central Coast. CCBUG is working actively with Roads and Maritime Services, local Police and the Central Coast Council on various projects including road and bike path works and Bike Sheds. We also work with Bicycle NSW and with RMS for events such as Bike Week.
If a full member ceases to renew their membership the membership will revert to Associate Member unless the member resigns from CCBUG.
Insurance
We recommend that all regular bicycle riders obtain some cycling specific personal and public liability insurance, to cover the unlikely accident and its’ repercussions. Membership of Bicycle NSW also shows your support for the peak NSW bicycle group representing everyday cyclists and its’ advocacy efforts.
As members of Bicycle NSW, all CCBUG Ride Leaders are covered by Bicycle NSW Public Liability insurance policy while leading CCBUG rides. However, this insurance does NOT cover you and any damage that you may do to other people or property.
